And the Pencil Goes To . . .
The most innovative creators in advertising – The One Club
The One Club for Creativity produces the prestigious One Show, ADC Awards and Creative Week, and is the world’s foremost non-profit organization recognizing creative excellence in advertising and design.
Approached to revive, redesign and rebrand The One Club’s iconic identity, we created textures, and bold type that was daring, and provocative. The brandmark was created by taking the shape of the coveted Pencil, and placing it throughout applications, from the membership card to business cards.
Revenue from The One Show goes to educational programs that support young talent. With this in mind, we developed a campaign that spoke to “ROI” to announce the call for entries during award season. Posters, a hardbound book, out of home advertising and a video series were created.
As part of the ROI campaign, the videos were animated, using voiceovers from industry leaders answering the question: “What is the ROI for The One Show?”

“The Brand Book” is a perfect bound piece given to new members and potential partners. Although small in size, it is big on impact. While the history of The One Club for Creativity is mentioned, the book looks to use its legacy to inspire future generations of creatives.
Approached to re-launch The One Club’s One. A Magazine to its former glory, we stepped up the game with a clean bold cover and bright fluorescent type. We found a way to create energy and organize a vast amount of information through designing visually exciting pages. Using three font families to showcase a “typography ensemble,” pops of bright color and a “quick snippet” approach, the magazine was brought back to life.
