Biophile approached us to design a unique brand identity and visual language that would help them stand out in a crowded beauty market, especially in the field of organic skincare. We had to find a way to communicate just how innovative and transformational this skincare range is, one with the highest levels of efficacy and purity that work with the natural biology of the skin, to establish a new standard of beauty.
We found our inspiration in Biophile’s ethos. Ideas of living, breathing fermentation and natural synergy inspired us. Clear glass bottles let the products speak for themselves. Like a petri-dish, labels with die-cut windows reveal the beautiful, potent liquids inside, where essences such as green tea, mushrooms and ginger come alive: symbiotic formulas synergistic with each other and with the biology of the skin.
Throughout the visual identity system soft watercolor gradients meet and mix, echoing the fermentation and natural energy living within the box.
The results are clean, modern, minimal packaging that reflects Biophile’s breakthrough technology and sustainable brand mission. Combining art and biology to pioneer a new generation of skincare, Biophile is the brand to watch. Biophile was the winner of “Best Face Serum” at the 2019 Best in Show Awards at the Indie Beauty Expo.
