Bringing advocacy to life – Human Rights Campaign

The Human Rights Campaign is America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve LGBTQ equality.

Annual reports are typically text heavy brochures, often forgettable, and rarely grab attention – a risk that could not be taken in the current political environment.

We stripped back the design to HRC’s signature blue, and used bold white typography as a nod to their grassroots beginnings. Turning the report into an oversized newspaper, each spread opens to clean layouts and captivating messages that demand to be shouted and shared. We created an inexpensive, confident annual report to serve as a unique keepsake, while compelling HRC’s 1.5 million members to join the fight for equal rights.
