Classic Stage Company, an acclaimed Off-Broadway theater in New York’s East Village, sought a rebrand to celebrate its 50th Anniversary to better reflect its creative and innovative approach to classic and contemporary works. 


We recognized that the name “Classic Stage Company” felt outdated, prompting a shift to the more modern and versatile “CSC.” The rebrand introduced a bold logo inspired by New York’s strength and vibrancy, paired with a dynamic identity system featuring gradient color palettes, sliced photography, and echoed typography. To mark the milestone, we designed an oversized brochure that energized their anniversary gala and unveiled the upcoming season, embodying CSC’s dynamic spirit and cultural relevance.
