Brooklyn-based Biophile uses the science of fermentation to develop highly concentrated and fully sustainable skincare serums powered by natural biology.

We were approached to design a unique brand identity and visual language that would help Biophile stand out in a crowded beauty market. We were challenged to find a way to communicate the efficacy, purity, and natural properties of the skincare range – while highlighting the science and innovation. We weren’t just launching a new brand but establishing a new standard of beauty.

The visual identity system uses soft watercolor gradients that meet and mix, echoing the fermentation and natural energy living within the box. The results are clean, modern, minimal packaging that reflect Biophile’s breakthrough technology and sustainable brand mission. Combining art and biology to pioneer a new generation of skincare, Biophile is the brand to watch. Biophile was the winner of “Best Face Serum” at the 2019 Best in Show Awards at the Indie Beauty Expo.
